As three (3) Crucian G'yrls ("aka girls from St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands) with audacious goals, thriving to be professionals in our respective fields, running businesses, and serving our community while trying to learn, grow, live our lives and infuse some fun along the way, this is just what we do. So, when my sister, Khnuma, decided to open My Girlfriend's Closet (mgcstx) ten years ago, launch the international brand of Girlfriendism one year ago in the midst of a global pandemic, and then the inaugural Girlfriendism Retreat (from Friday, July 30th to August 1st, 2021) it was a no brainer that my daughter Xauskya, and I would support her in fulfilling her vision. After all, that is what the XauSky Group is about...helping find your passion and making your vision a reality!
However, the unassuming thing about entrepreneurship, leadership, and service is that it may be innate, nurtured, or both, but when they intersect it creates a ripple effect of intended or unintended events. S0, while Girlfriendism was intentionally created and "'inspired by the women of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands...Created for women all over the world!'", an unintended event was being featured just for who we are, doing what we do. So, it was such a pleasant surprise and delight when Charlene Springer reached out to do an article and video about MGC, Girlfriendism, and The XauSky Group, LLC for St. Croix Magazine (published 07/14/2021). To learn more about our story and how we are creating our legacy, check out the video below.

Who knows what else will come out of this combustible collaboration! As the legacy is being created, the best is yet to come.
